5. CONTROL AND AUTOMATION SYSTEM

navigation keys, and programmable function keys (SK1 to SK4 and F1 to F7)

Selectable Counting Methods: By label count (using
an infrared opacity sensor to detect the gap/liner) or by physical length
in meters
Memory backup battery: Estimated life of 4 years for the HMI and 5

6. INSPECTION AND SAFETY MODULES
Visual inspection area: Splicing table with integrated pneumatic clamps
and tape dispenser for manual defect rectification.
Mechanical safety: Blade housing with an upper guard linked to a
magnetic safety switch and stop relay (p. 5). Rear doors
feature switches that require the power supply to be cut before opening.
Directive compliance: CE certification under the Declaration of
Conformity 93/44/EEC and BS EN machinery safety standards.
