Description
Automatic inductive hardening line
The system is designed for the automatic inductive hardening of M8 and M10 screws and
bolts.
It is designed for approximately 70-80 parts per minute (depending on the component) and
features several monitoring options (temperatures, part heights, part types, rotation, etc.).
The parts are transported from a bunker belt via a steep conveyor to a linear sorter and
from there are separated and transferred into an 8-position indexing table with 2 nests per
station.
It is connected to a 50 kW high-frequency generator from the company IDEA, which
provides additional monitoring functions (energy consumption, ground fault monitoring, flow
rate and water temperature of the inductor, etc.).
The system has its own tank for quenching water, from which the parts are removed by
means of a magnetic conveyor belt. Afterwards, the parts are demagnetized.
Filtration of the quenching medium is carried out by a cartridge filter.
The system and the generator are prepared for connection to a central cooling system.
Since the system is currently not connected to a cooling system, it is only partially
operational.
