A thermal transfer printer can print fixed or variable data onto the roll-closing labels. Printed labels are collected by a unique mechanism (patent pending) that applies them to all finished rolls in a single movement. The label applicator is fully programmable via the machine's touchscreen to suit the requirements of each job. Taper tension control, servo-drive - open-loop tension control, 6 web splitters (5 lanes), touchscreen HMI with graphical operator instructions and error messages, automatic roll ejection mechanism, adjustable front and rear core stops, spindle setting readout for all configurations.
